This all stainless steel birdguard is suitable for use with appliances fired by solid fuel or oil. It is also suitable for disused chimneys, and ventilation purposes.
All Stainless Steel
Every part of this chimney cowl, including the mesh, the straps and the fixing kit, is manufactured in 316 grade stainless steel. This is the best quality material available for chimney cowls and offers guaranteed protection against corrosion or rust.
Strong Stainless Steel Mesh
The mesh in this cowl is 12 guage (2mm), which is thicker than most chimney cowls on the market.
Powder Coated Brown
The cowl is coated in a highly protective terracotta coloured finish, giving an unobtrusive look to the installed product.
Spun Top
The lid of the cowl is spun, giving a perfectly balanced look, and increasing the strength of the product.

Fixing Method
This chimney cowl uses a strap band fixing method, considered to be the most secure method of fixing chimney cowls in the industry.
Three legs are integral to the cowl, and a stainless steel band (like a large jubilee clip) secures the cowl to the chimney pot. The bottom ends of the straps are then unturned to complete the installation.
The strap band fixings are included with this cowl.
